Overview for Art

042 - Constance Tenvik

There it is Constance Tenvik and also the last episode of The Frido Show.
It has been a fun ride but after 10 years I decided it was time to retire the project.
To go out with a bang Constance Tenvik was so gracious to share this moment with me.
There is a waterfall of topics; from Mozart to murals, from studio 11 to artistic universes.
Enjoy and thanks for all the years!

040 - Espen Gleditsch

"It is amazing light, but there is not enough of it, rigt.."

We talked about the light in February in the British museum. Walking down a rock and Espen's path to his current practice. If you want to see his work go see his it at Kunstnerforbundet now! It is so worth it.

Also the 11th of Oktober a publication attached to the show will be released there. Go get it!

It was an absolute delight sitting down in his studio for this talk.

036 - Samoa Rémy

As Norway opened up after a couple month of Covid 19 restrictions I finally was able to head over to Samoa's studio for a chat. On an exceptional warm summer day we talked about her artistic process of intense exploration.
Samoa Rémy is currently a PhD fellow in artistic research at KHIO (Oslo National Academy of the Arts)
We dig into the way she explores and approaches a wide range of subjects ranging from the scientific to the esoteric, from the symbolic to the historical. We talk about CERN and her residency there.
Enjoy our talk!

If you want to know more about Samoa's work go and check out her website.

035 - Knut Benjaminsen

In the last days of the 2020 Corona lock down I managed to convince my studio neighbor to sit down and have a chat with me.
Knut and I talk about his work and the studio. We talk about his side job at the graveyard and how that combines with his art practice. Some Corona rambling obviously gets into the mix as well.
Enjoy!
